News & Upcoming events

On May 25th, Olya will give a guest lecture at Utrecht University for a BA course in Ethics of Technology about the relation between values and technologies.
On June 24th, Olya will give a workshop on Empirical philosophy for the 4TU.Ethics Graduate School PhD Writing Retreat.
On May 12th, Olya will be interviewed for a podcast by Bobbi Bahov on AI regulation in light of the new EU Proposal for a Regulation on a European approach for Artificial Intelligence.
On July 12th, Olya will give a talk on the ethical implications of voice assistants for the Berlin Conversational AI UX group.
Past activities
On March 16, 2021, Olya took part in the philosophical cafe Felix & Sofie in Amsterdam, where she discussed the role of digital technologies in fostering specific communication practices during the pandemic.

On April 12, 2021, Olya gave a webinar for the International Speech Communication Association, Security and Privacy in Speech Communication Group on "Ethical considerations of the algorithmic processing of language and speech".
On March 11, Olya spoke with the young adults in Ukraine about Women in Science and her journey in academia as a part of the FLEX Alumni project (Olya is FLEX '05 Alumna).
